Smother.net review of "thirty pieces"

Devil to Pay armed with their debut album “Thirty Pieces of Silver”, a heavy metal tribute of doomy stoner rock. I love stoner rock that knows that a guitar hook is the most important thing followed by the requisite wall of distortion. These guys play by that book and present some nasty riffs that are guaranteed to have you growing horns and making the metal sign in no time. Unbelievably enough you feel like you just took fifty bong hits by the end of the album after listening to the thick delivery and vocals that almost border on old Alice in Chains at times.
