Drawing the final spot of the night apparently isn't the curse in this Battle of the Bands as it was the first time around as doom rock band Devil To Pay claimed the first finals slot out of the number six position in playing order.

Devil To Pay, a first-round substitute band, carried the night once again with their sludgy riffs and plodding groove. Cheers and rock horns welcomed Steve Janiak back to the stage after a hospital stay as the band jammed through their style of hard rock free of frat boy testosterone.

Devil To Pay's final vote total proved them to be the night's clear-cut favorites as they tallied 261 more points than the second place Drama Queen. Sfumato, Overcast, Chris Coolidge, and Gods Of Perception followed respectively.
