Devil to Pay has blessed us with a 12 song extended CD called "Partially Ever After."

The set contains 5 newly recorded tracks with their latest Guitar superstar, Rob Hough taking the guitar attack to a slightly darker, more organic place that allows Steve Janiak more room to contribute with his own considerable Gibson-fueled talent.

"High Horse" in particular really shows off the explosive potential of this line-up, serving up a Vol. 4 sounding sludgefest that plays like a slowed down chimp attack.

"Goat Leaves" and the opening "When All is Said and Done" also show off a tighter, more aggressively evil sound.

DTP is also slinging a DVD entitled 48 Minutes.

Crock full of great performances and classy editing, this DVD comes pretty close to capturing the Live DTP experience. Once again, "High Horse" is a highlight, possibly even stronger then the studio version. Awesomely ham-fisted performances of concert favorites like "Dinosaur Steps," "Valley of the Dogs" and "Tractor F'n Trailer" make this DVD a must have for any serious metal fan.

This CD and DVD should hold us over until the next DTP album drops later this year. Until then, enjoy a fun drinking game where you drink every time members of the band look like Cousin It. You'll be drunk halfway through the first song, but hey, at least it's a fast game.
