Smother.net review of "Cash is King" Posted: 10-20-06 Sludge oriented guitars open up "Cash Is King" allowing Devil to Pay to breath in fully the smoky confines of their habitat. Hard rock 'n' roll that refuses to give anything in and takes nothing for granted, Devil to Pay sure knows how to not pull a single punch. Sort of like a more stoner rock version of Alice in Chains, Devil to Pay is a decent group to have open up for a more polished and established metal group in a local club but they have some work to do before they should be touring the nation as the main act. - J-Sin
