Avec
DEVIL TO PAY, on tient là une sacré formation de Stoner Rock "rud
boy" articulant son style vers des contrées très Hard puriste... Une
touche de Metal très heavy, une touche de joyeux cris et surtout, une
touche d'imagination qui me fera dire que le rock aux Etats Unis n'est pas
vraiment mort...
DEVIL TO PAY ressemble
dans sa démarche à KEISOR... Une envie folle de se démarquer dans cet
univers remplit d'incertitude et surtout de coups
fourrés...
DEVIL TO PAY a énormément de
talent et surtout de l'énergie à
revendre...
Tout le disque est stimulé
par une certaine fièvre qui anime le
groupe...
"thirty pieces of silver" est
un pur joyau de riffs comme savait si bien faire : BANG, DUST et autre
GRANICUS...
Le hard rock américain est en
marche... Leurs légions vont envahir le
monde...

Et je préfère cette attitude à n'importe
qu'elle autre...
Moi, je suis prêt
à accueillir ces pauvres étrangers qui grâce à leur intelligence, à
leur savoir faire et à leur expérience va faire que le stoner rock
n'est pas prêt de mourir...
